The police and the public prosecutor are still looking for witnesses who could possibly provide a good trail to the missing Sigrid DORMAELS. This woman from Hasselt has been missing since 2008. Sigrid DORMAELS was last seen on February 18, 2008. That Monday morning, Sigrid would have packed her bags at her friend in Balen and was never seen again. Witnesses say she may have been picked up by someone with a van. Even her pets disappeared, an English bulldog and a Malteser, her cat, a ferret, a hamster and some cages with zebra finches and parakeets.

Her car, a blue NISSAN Micra, was later found.
A witness said that Sigrid might have a new friend in West Flanders. The investigators would like to see him. Other witnesses who have seen Sigrid after 18 February 2008 and people who can tell more about her are asked to contact the police. Sigrid would have often stayed in Antwerp in the months before her disappearance. Maybe she was also seen there.
