On July 6, 2001, Guy MARECHAL from Jupille, Belgium went to France to follow a mountaineering course at the Belgian Alpinist Club in Bérarde in the Ecrins National Park. Guy was 41 years old at the time. On Sunday, July 22, 2001, around 5:00 am, Guy left alone from the refuge “La Muzelle” for a trip and left his car at Bourg d’Arud. A gray Renault Megane with a Luxembourg registration number DN 499. Guy had planned to take a parallel road from the GR54 but has not given any sign of life since then.
