Father Dr. Yves Godard
Daughter Camille

On September 1, 1999, Father Yves Godard, along with his 2 children, son Marius Henry and daughter Camilla, set out for a week-long sailing trip. The sailing boat “Nick” was spotted in several places. Yves’ car was parked at the parking lot of the harbour of St Malo where they left with their rented sailboat. Traces of blood were found in the car as well as cleaning products and a few doses of morphine. The researchers then went to the house of the Godard family where traces of blood were found in the bathroom, living room and master bedroom. The blood was confirmed as that of his wife and mother of the children Marie-France LEGRAVEREND.

On June 6, 2000, a dredger fished up daughter Camilla’s skull from the bay of Saint-Brieuc. On September 13, 2006, parts of a human skeleton were found on the seabed of Hurt’s Deep. These remains were found to belong to the father, Yves Godard. The bodies of son Marius and mother Marie-France were never found. It still remains a mystery where the sailing boat “Nick” has gone.
