On December 10, 2011, the lifeless body of a woman was discovered near a railway track, outside of Villebon-sur-Yvette in Essone. The body was discovered charred, decapitated and the hands cut off. The autopsy did not determine the cause of death.

In 2017 the body was finally identified as Souad Boubou. The woman from Moroccan origine disappeared from Villebon-sur-Yvette. Her husband is being investigated as a suspect in her murder. The DNA from two different men were found on her body.
