On May 8, a man whose identity is unknown was buried in the South Cemetery in Rotterdam. During a port protection exercise on Wednesday April 12, 2017 his body was found in the Rijnhaven on the side of the Antoine Platekade (between bolder 11 and 12 next to or near the stairs next to bolder 11). The man turned out to have died by drowning. Databases have of course been checked, but so far no one has indicated that they miss the man.
